IHop

The first International House of Pancakes restaurant opened in 1958 in Toluca Lake, California, under the direction of founder Al Lapin, Jr. Soon enough IHop started to spread all over the United States and Canada. What IHop stands for is International House of Pancakes. In 2008, IHOP celebrates their 50th at the first location in beginnings in Toluca Lake, California they've become one of America's favorite restaurants, with over 1,400 locations coast to coast.

(Full credits to Wikipedia; it helped me find the information for the founders and associates, total of locations and such...)

Last time I went to IHop was during the summer, at the location in Niagara Falls, and you gotta order a pancake, that's the whole point of IHOP (international house of PANCAKES!). So I definitely got the New York Cheesecake Pancakes; cheese cake is my favorite, and added with pancakes is just MMMM.

So the New York Cheesecake Pancake is four fluffy buttermilk pancakes loaded with creamy, rich cheesecaked pieces of crowned with cool strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped topping.

Yes this completely sounds unhealth and loaded with calories, but if you think about it this way, you eat this for breakfast exercise throughout the day or just be active, and damn all of that is about 1100 calories !! That's crazy, you definitely need to exercise considering you need bout 2000 calories a day, and that's only BREAKFAST.

My sister and I at IHop in Niagara Falls ! Definitely going back there soon enough :)
I had to take a picture of my pancake, it was just too good ! :$

Quiznos Sub

Quiznos logo.svgQuiznos is one of my favorite fast food restaurant despite the fact that the one near my house got closed down. But by researching about this restaurant, there was about 1000 restaurants that were closed down between 2007 and 2009. They are now attempting new strategies to grow the chain back. The company specializes in offering toasted subs, although they may be served untoasted if the customer asks. Both Subway  and Quiznos are the top largest submarine sandwich shop  chain in North America, Quiznos second in line of course.
In 1978, is when Terrell Braly and others changed a closed gas station called "Sinclair" in Denver, Colorado into a sandwich shop which was called "Sandwich World". From the manager at the time; Hussain "Jeff" Jaffarie. After when "Sandwich World" went into new management, the take over changed the name to Quiznos.

(Full credits to Wikipedia; it helped me find the information for the management, total of locations, restaurant title and such...)

So when there used to be a Quiznos in the plaza of The Square Market and Shoppers Drug Mart, my dad used to send my sister and I all the time to go get subs, and our top favorable one was the Roast Beef Submarine. It's not that we didn't try any other kind, it's just this sub honestly satisfied you to the point where you'd keep coming back for more. And surprisingly this sandwich is all under 500 calories, which is good compared to others.
Roast beef, mozzarella, chopped lettuce and tomatoes, mayo and toasted ;) We also got the Chicken Caesar salad , best salad I've ever eaten; Chicken, Italian cheese blend, tomatoes, Peppercorn Caesar dressing.
Yup sounds like it tastes amazing. Last time I had this was between 2007 to 2009 considering that's when 1000 of them closed, including the one next to my house. But I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have one in the next week for old time sakes!

Little Caesars

Little Caesars Pizza is probably every ones favorite because not only do their pizzas taste amazingly, but it's ready in 5 MINUTES, now that's what you call fast food. It was founded by Michael Llitch and Marian Llitch on May 8th, 1959. The very first location was a strip mall in Garden City, Michigan, Detroit. Mike wanted to name the place "Pizza Treat" but Marian wanted a name that suited Mike, and she considered him her "little Caesar." The original store is still open today and is called "Little Caesar's Pizza Treat."

(Full credits to Wikipedia; it helped me find the information for the founders and associates, total of locations and such...)

So the reason we all love Little Caesars is because of the HOT-N-READY Pizza that they have. You the choice of a medium original round pizza that include pepperoni or just cheese and a selection of specialty pizzas. Best part is that it's hot out of the oven and ready when you are, we dont need to call ahead nor wait.

They also have their crazy bread that I personally adore ONLY when it's hot, comes with eight sticks topped with the flavors of butter and garlic, then sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
Oh and then there is the sauce for then, which is delicious and is good with no only the crazy bread put also the pizzas.

So depending on the size of the pizza and on the items on it and if its thin crust or not is how you can tell how much calories is in one piece, but the least you'd get in one piece is 140 calories and the most is beyond 200 calories. If you think 140-200 is nothing, well how many pieces of pizza would you eat? Can you resist? That's a lot of calories, plus there's the 5$ ready when you are box so you think it's cheap and buy a few boxes, end of the night you've consumed hundreds or thousands of calories..not good haha.

Nobody can resist Little Caesars pizza though, there's something about it that's addicting.

Arby's

Arby's fast food restaurant is mostly known for selling their roast beefs sandwiches and their curly fries. It was founded in Boardman, Ohio in 1964 by Forrest and Leroy Raffel. The brothers wanted to call their place "Big Tex" but since the name was already in use they chose Arby's based on R.B the initials of Raffel Brothers.

(Full credits to Wikipedia; it helped me find the information for the founders and associates, total of locations and such...)

I've only tried Arby's once since there was no other place closer to the pool my friends and I were at. In my opinion it wasn't ALL that, like the "Big Mac" at McDonald's and the "Whopper" at Burger King, it was just was just a regular burger to me, but this is only my opinion.

The health issues isn't that bad here, if you're buying their famous roast beef sandwiches, its only between 200 calories to 400. But if you we're to order a side of their famous curly fries too, then you'd add the least 200 calories so the most 600 ish maybe even more.

They have one item that is really high in calories and it is the "Roast Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich" which contains: Eggs, Fish (anchovies), Milk, Soya, Wheat and adds up to about 900 calories... people contradict and think since it says "Roast Chicken Caesar SALAD sandwich" they assume its the healthy choice on the menu, when really its the worst item up there out of all, you'd consume about 52 g of FAT.

I swear im learning so much from each fast food place when I do my research, thank god for this project ! ;)

A&W

Have you ever wondered to what the A and the W stand for ? Well after a little research I came to the conclusion that A stands for Allen and W stands for Wright. Roy Allen was an entrepreneur who on a hot day of June in 1919 Lodi, California, mixed up that what is now the famous creamy root beer. He then sold his first drink for only a NICKEL. I wish.....
So then in 1922, Roy Allen and his new partner Frank Wright and three locations were then opened near by in Sacramento.

(Full credits to Wikipedia; it helped me find the information for the founders and associates, total of locations and such...)

Okay so I promised my best friend Mohannad Chafchak that I'd talk about my first time going to A&W because it was pretty interesting. It was last Monday, January 10th, 2011. And we didn't feel like going to first period which was bio so we decided to go out for breakfast, we went to McDonald's but they had the breakfast menu up, we went to Taco Bell but it was close, Harvey's .. too lazy to cross the streets, so A&W happened to be there, we went in and Mohannad got the 2 for 4$ Mama burgers, and I got the same + fries and regular root beer. We sat down waited for the food and while waiting I decided to get another drink so we'd each have one, Mohannad was a loser and got me the Root Beet Float, yeah it's good but I'm handicapped and can't use my right hand so it was pretty messed up considering it's HUGE.

The Mama burgers were honestly the yummiest burgers I've ever eaten and since we each got 2 and they contain 450 calories that is about 900 calories each + an extra 260 calories for the fries + the Root Beer Float which is 270 calories and surprisingly the regular root beer drink was 320 calories.

Here's our Root Beer Float that we took turns trying to chug it ..big fail we couldn't finish it :p

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

AMAZINGLY GOOOOOOOD !!! <3
I give Roy Allen and Frank Wright props!

I can definitely say it's a must BUY Root Beer, I'm kind of craving one right now ..

Taco Bell

Taco Bell is an American restaurant all over the world, it specializes in Mexican-style food. There is around 6,446 locations around the world, 5,800 in the United states only. Taco Bell was founded in March 21st, 1962 by Glen Bell, a marine who opened his first restaurant that was called Bell’s Drive-in, in San Bernardino at the age of 25. Four restaurants used to be called Le Taco, and there are still some old locations with that name. In 1962 is when the first restaurant was named "Taco Bell".

The classic Taco Bell logo used from 1985 to 1994.
It is still in use at many older Taco Bell locations.

The original Taco Bell logo that is now being
used at all Taco Bell locations.

(Full credits to Wikipedia; it helped me find the information for the founders and associates, total of locations and such...)

Hey bloggers! So I was driving back from Volleyball practice the other day and I passed by Taco Bell and thought I should add this in my blog considering a lot of you might favorise this fast food restaurant.

So I was scrolling through all of what Taco Bell has to offer checking out all of the calories and what has the most and was only surprised to see that the "Fiesta Taco SALAD" has 850 calories .. damn and they tell us salads are healthy order it, no I'd suggest to get a dessert instead of that since the Cinnamon Twists has only 160 calories.
But either way I'm not hating on the Fiesta Taco Salad, my sister and I usually buy one and split it with one another, it's really tasty :p

Since Taco Bell is known for their "tacos", the most calories you could get in a taco is the "double Decker Taco" (320 calories). And right now as im reading on http://www.tacobell.ca/Nutritional-Information ; it says that the original Beef Taco is only 160 calories, shocking since they are known for their tacos and that is the original one, which I cant seem to find any other item less than 160 calories, so it has to be a good thing.
